Easing back into the swing of things...

Ok, so as I mentioned... a new PC is headed our way.. at some point....in the future... hopefully near...and not to mention any names on how this is all going down but pretty sure you can all figure it out...we are BLESSED over and over again by our families....but mostly it is a lot because CountryDad is pretty much addicted to my blog :) awwww don't think that doesn't just inflate my ego :) hee hee hee

So here are some pics that I was able to get off the camera... I have another memory card that I'm going to dump on what is fondly referred to as the "Shed Computer" until the new one shows up... JJ is being very generous to allow us to use this laptop and I bet he is CRINGING at the thought of all he's going to have to take OFF here when I'm done with it... hee hee hee.... So a quick-ish catch up in the Mouse House... Husband has had a GAZILLION snow days which does NOT make him REAL happy... don't get me wrong... winter is the man's favorite season with all that frozen water and cold but missing school only to make it up when it is warm and sunny out is not his idea of a good time... :) Minnie and I have sure enjoyed his company on these snowy days though :) He is gearing up for the Super Bowl which won't be QUITE as much fun here since the Patriots are not going to be in it... but he's REALLY looking forward to his annual ice fishing derby weekend with his buds in a few weeks.

I... GOT A JOB. :) I mean one that ACTUALLY pays, more than in kisses and hugs and dirty dipes :) Basically the EXACT job I proposed to the bank I worked at before I went out on Maternity leave but my boss did not approve... except that I am supporting an Insurance/Investment guy in the next town over for a MUCH smaller practice in a MUCH more casual environment... FROM MY HOME!!! I couldn't be MORE thrilled. I am excited for the mental challenge, the fact that it is only part-time and of COURSE since it is mostly done from my very own dining room table and home office :) THRILLED! Bring on the gas and grocery money :) CountryDad and I went on a "date" to a ROCK CONCERT :) to support the H family with their adoption and they are OH SO CLOSE to a baby we can hardly stand it!!! Fun times!!!Otherwise I have been busy entertaining friends and family, keeping home, taking care of the girl and TRYING to be a good wife. :)

Minnie is getting smarter and FASTER every single day :) We are working on our ABC's and she pretty much has that down... like JUST the ABC part :) and after spending some time with Auntie J.T. and Dani we are working on counting on our fingers to five :) She LOVES music and is especially enamored with Toby Mac, Jeremy Camp and Michael W. Smith when their songs come on the TV radio. I think she has little Christian crushes. So cute:) Course she is also a HUGE fan of all the Progressive commercials on TV so not sure what that means :) She now says "pppuuuuusssshhh" when you put on any type of shoe, "no, no, noooo" when she is getting ready to do something she knows is not right :) "oh yeah" and of course "Da-Da" is still her favorite phrase. She's swinging into the not wanting to eat anything phase which is a bit challenging. She would go through a bag of potato chips if I let her though so we fondly refer to her as a "Snack-a-saur-us" We've had a few rough patches at night where she wakes up screaming/crying and only wants to be held in her rocking chair... there have been some long nights recently but we PRAISE THE LORD for the times she sleeps straight through. Still not sure if it is teeth or ears or pressure from both....overall during the day she is a fairly happy girl though and LOVES LOVES LOVES company, going out and playing with new friends!!!

These pictures are specifically for Auntie since we called her bright and early before she left for work to let her know that Minnie brought her boots over to me to put on before 8AM and then promptly walked around like "ain't no thing". I'm excited for this girl's fashion sense :)

This is her most recent "Trick" (J.T. and I like to refer to the girls as "trained monkeys" :) If I ask to see "my happy girl" this is the face I get. :) I can even ask when she is in mid-cry, freak-out, etc. mood and this teeth gritting cheesy smile comes out. I honestly don't think I could love her anymore and then a new day dawns and I DO! :)
I'm hopeful that things will be more consistent now that I have my camera hooked up to this "Shed Computer" :) and JJ is rolling his eyes :) I love it!
HAPPY WEEKEND!!!
