UPDATED: Prayers needed for the firstborn...

*We talked with the vet a couple of times today... right after the surgery he was EXTREMELY happy with how it went and then we checked in again a little after 5PM to see if he should come home tonight or tomorrow...we decided on tomorrow but the vet told us that he was already manuevering around and doing really well... he was going to give him more pain meds to sleep through the night and Husband will go pick up his boy in the AM... we are so proud of our "little" man... Thanks for the prayers... sounds like he has done very well... we'll see how his parents do when they see him and try to nurse him back to health :)

Rebound is our pride and joy... he's been the "baby" for 6 1/2 years...he's "not normal" and I am not normal when I say that, the crazy couple in FL that cloned their dog for $100K... yeah... I'd do that. We love our dog...

Reebsie has had some on-going medical issues that we found out about on Veteran's Day and needless to say at almost 9 months PG and a hormonal girl anyway I was NOT handling things well... he had to have some tests done and there is good news and bad news.... good.... we are not going to lose our dog like originally anticipated... bad... we are going to lose one of his front legs today... He has a tumor on his left front "wrist" and will be going in for surgery to have the leg removed to stop the spread of any chance of the "c" word from showing up anywhere else...

Husband and I are doing oooookkkkk we are DEF. worried about him recovering and handling the stairs to get down our deck to go potty... thankfully Husband is still home with Minnie and I for the first few days of recovery but this is going to be a 2-3 week road at LEAST for Reebsie to learn how to function with only three legs and one of the missing being his front... he carries quite a bit of weight there in the front....

Pray for our poochy if you will... you gotta think that God created animals before us and he even saved them when He flooded the earth so I think He's kinda partial to them... I know we are...

Thinking of you all....he is a super special dog for sure! And, all that love that you have for him...I have no doubt he loves you both with the same intensity! You are his mom, dad, and 'lil sis! Not to mention all the other family members and friends that he has praying for him! I remember a story a certain little someone wrote in school about her best friend....

This family was definitely praying for him and thinking of him all day. I still can't stop the tears when I think of everything Reebsie means to this family. We can't wait to see him.
