Last Friday we celebrated our final day of summer... picked up Sky (and Curry!) and headed to MC's doc appointment... taking off this cast next Tuesday (9/13) and they will decide if we get to do a splint or a short arm cast... :( She was kinda bummed that she didn't get a new cast but honestly she is just such a trooper....
having "slither.i.o." in the car waiting for her def. helped though... see the pet separator... yeah. He got through.:)
We also had to take off the nautical bracelet. My accessories queen put this bracelet on the first day of summer and it didn't come off at all....we thought maybe it wouldn't survive surgery but the RN's assured us she could keep it on... until....

We then packed it all up again and headed over for a last day of summer swim/jump/slide

Definitely missing Daws....:( but we pushed through :)
until we didn't :) she was just supposed to "rest" read some books and play with her stuffies.... that didn't go quite like we thought :) It's tough being 4 :)
I'd say we did summer pretty well... and ended it with a BANG.... ONTO SCHEDULES AND ROUTINES!!!
