I went with my parents and grandfather this afternoon to visit my Nannie in the nursing home she's currently getting rehab at...A few weeks ago she had dictated to another family member her autobiography... as I was reading through it I got to the point where she and my grandfather got married... October 5, 1947... I looked up at the two of them sitting across from me and said... it's your anniversary today!?!?!!? They both seemed surprised (Grampa sometimes still thinks it's July :) but yes, they both DID know they were married on 10/05/1947...Happy Anniversary Nannie and Grampa!
