1/2 a year... I mean SERIOUSLY... 1/2 A YEAR... In six more SHORT months my sweet girl there is a strong potential you will be walking, weaned and wearing at LEAST barrettes in your hair! SLOOOOW it DOWN sis-tah!
This past month has been VERY eventful for you! You have started to roll over... but ONLY when you REALLY want to, you are mastering the excesaucer and have started spending time in the walker. At first you just went backwards but now you know how to get to where you want to go... mostly for me or your sister :)
We are also... drum roll please... eating FOOD. So far you have had avocado and sweet potatoes and loved them both! We gave bananas a try a few times and you look at me like I'm trying to feed you dirt. You are also trying with everything you have to master getting the little puffs from your high chair tray into your mouth. You are so proud when you succeed! You can PACK IT AWAY too! You are eating oatmeal in the AM after your morning nap and again with food at dinner time... 5:30ish.
You are wearing mostly 6-12 month clothes, size 2 dipes and most days managing to stay in one outfit a day :)

STILL not sleeping through the night... we THOUGHT we were getting close with 3-4 nights in a row with a good stretch but the past week or so has gotten progressively worse with you waking every 2 hours. We are pretty sure that you are trying to pop through a tooth though... you are drooling like a faucet, jamming your hands down your throat and fussing like crazy which is SO.NOT.LIKE.YOU. Naps during the day are still pretty consistent with one around 8AMish lasting until 9:30-10 and then another one around 12:30ish and lasting until about 2:30-3ish... the rest of the night is all up in the air. Sometimes you'll take a catnap in your swing and sometimes you are just UP until you go to bed for the night between 7:30-8....
I absolutely LOVE that you have one eyelash on your left eye that is longer than the rest... it has been that way since birth and it is so sweet and special :) I keep waiting for the others to catch up or for you to lose it. So stinkin' cute.
At your 6 month doc appt we found out you are running right on track to be one of OUR kids :):

You are still a really happy girl. You will smile at ANYONE and people in general just make you happy. You LOVE your sister and she can make you belly laugh like no one else. You love to sit with Daddy on the couch after dinner and you are a big fan of just rocking in the chair. I do LOVE LOVE LOVE though sweet little girl of mine... that I am STILL your favorite :) You love ME the most and I can't tell yah how warm and fuzzy that makes my heart :)
You do have your moments though when you let us know that things are NOT going your way and you've started to do this little blubbering lip thing... I'm going to try to get it on video because it is equal parts sad and cute :)
I can't believe how fast it has gone by my little love... stay small for a little longer won't you? We love you SO much Miss B ~ thanks for completing our family.
