Yes, I went home from work yesterday.... I am now convinced it is allergies. With a cough. Lovely. Kidlet and Bethany... let me know if you don't think that we should come tonight... honestly, totally, your call and I will understand either way. It is a dry annoying cough that you can tell is induced by TREE POLLEN... but I still would not want to risk anything so you let me know what you think.

So Husband (amazing man) tried to cheer me up and guess who got a new job at our FAVORITE LOCAL ice cream shop!?!?!? :) Who cares if we were JUST there on Sunday (blush) GA wasn't there on Sunday!! :) :)


Can you tell the cheering up worked?? mmmmm?? He looks handsome as ever... me... clearly still irritated :)

What did YOU do this weekend?

I realize it's Tuesday people... but I've been having so much fun I didn't want to stop to 1) blog or 2) take many pictures apparantly... :) We did more than this, this weekend but this is what I've captured...

SOMEBODY got new wheels!! :) :) Tonight... again, no pics. :( BUT SUCH a good time at Reb's pah-ty!! :) yummy food and she even fed ME DINNER :) (SERIOUSLY that was a party in my mouth! I NEED the recipie and Lynne you should just post it on your blog because Tracy is going to want it as well :) save yourself some time. I think Reb made it with whole wheat pasta... was YUMMY. Wow. SOOO yummy!

Laurie has totally rocked my world and set me up so that I am not so grouchy anymore because I am "talking" to she and Tracy all day again. Life is decent. Wouldn't say it's GOOD but decent. :) Here's what's been going on...

Pic of dinner for yah T... this was from Tuesday night.. vegetarian for me... this was the pesto thing.... sausage with Husbands... came out alright but I think it was a LITTLE garlicy. Typically that doesn't bother me but WHEEEEEWWWWW too much for my belly. Ick.

My parents, MIL AND LAURA JANE came for dinner last night!!!! Laura Jane, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it when you come to family stuff. I honestly cannot tell you how it makes my heart swell and how excited I get when you come to things that I invite you to where my family is. You know they all love you like their own and I am sooooo blessed to have YOU in MY FAMILY!!!

Seriously... who doesn't love a face like this! :) Hong Kong... haven't heard a comment from yah in a while. Do you think he's sick of the camera yet!?!? :) :) Exciting stuff for tonight...MIL, my Mum and I are headed to a BROADWAY SHOW!! (no, not in NY... but Broadway for northern New England!!) :) soooo excited to hang with my mothers tonight!! :)

Day Two... No email...

I'm NOT going to make it. Literally... NOT going to make it. I HAVE to be able to "talk" to HER all day everyday if I WANT TO. We have been "talking" for more than TEN YEARS!!!!!!

One of my co-workers asked me this AM "well, really, how much do you email outside...." my response... "you have no idea. I am the QUEEN of multi-tasking. I credit it to the big globe company where I did tech support. I could IM 3 friends, email my girlfriends AND fix computers via the phone ALL AT THE SAME TIME. I am a multi-tasking goddess when it comes to work. I RARELY have piles of work on my desk and I am a ROCK star when it comes to getting things done.

I'm seriously... not going to make it.

JJ, you should know... there has been talk of emails getting routed from TN to you and your internal email to me and then back out again. We are thinking a couple of days of THAT and you'll come up with some sort of WORK AROUND email address for me. :) wink wink NUDGE NUDGE!!!!

OR I REALLY MIGHT JUST GO CRAZY!!!!! (or have to find another job which will drive Husband CRAZY! :))

In laymans terms... there will be no more emailing from work. My boss can and will be reviewing any incoming and outgoing email. Now he says he will just review the "business" items however..... come on now. Because I work at a location that is SUPER SUPER concerned (thankfully) about viruses and thing corrupting their network of computers I cannot access Yahoo, Hotmail, or any other generic email accounts. FRUSTRATING.

It is honestly the little things that keep me going all day every day... taking this away... it hurts my moral.

P.S. Its not to say you can't email me at work anymore but nothing personal and nothing you wouldn't want shared with a man you don't know that goes to Catholic church and worships budda. (He's very confused)

P.S. 2 if that statement about his "faith" offends you... too bad its my blog.

HB: This post is to try and make you smile...

For everyone else*... you can be in prayer for my friend Heidi... Her Hubby left on Saturday for a year + to go and fix tanks and machinery in IRAQ. :( Heid is PG with their 2nd child and will deliver in November without her best friend and baby daddy... Thank you Marc for what you are doing for our country and your willingness to sacrifice for your family.

I spent some time on Sunday afternoon scanning in pics. I tried to peel them out of my albums but they were STUCK STUCK STUCK so you can see that some of the college pics are scanned together and kinda hard to see.

HB, know that Laura Jane and I love you very much and we are praying for you and thinking about often. Laura will be with you to snuggle before you know it!! You girls are going to have so much fun! If it weren't for the 150 degree heat I'd be jealous... :)

Don't you worry your pretty little (what?) BIG red head about it... your wrenchin' man will be home in NO time!!
But in the meantime... know that we love you are sad right along with you....

Girls Night Out...

It's always a fun time at a wine tasting with Laura Jane... its even better when we can go to the one at the "bottle redemption center"....We are classy chicks.... From the tasting to dinner and judging by the smile you'd think she was psyched about the restaurant choice but she is VERY misleading :) WHAT a good sport though... she had a bad experience at this new restaurant and she gave it another whirl :) I think she was surprised... :)

Up close and personal...

I like to keep most things tucked in... nice and tight and personal. You might think you all have a pretty good idea of my life and what goes on but there is much that is protected and hidden. You can never be too careful.

However, this touched me so much... well... you're getting a glimpse...

GA surprised me by dropping off flowers for me to SIL yesterday... Husband had them brought over to church (no idea how they got there actually :) and had my sweet neice Bri give them to me as I walked out the door... see... they hand out carnations to mom's on Mother's Day. I love it. I think it is very sweet and nice... but I walk by with my head down not making eye contact because well... I am not a Mom... but this year... this year I walked out with a bouquet wrapped in florist wrapping and proudly walking out because THIS.... THIS is what my precious, lovely, sweet, spunky, awesome, growing, studette, gorgeous, wonderful, amazing, Godly, little friend GA wrote on the card....

"Mrs. C.....

Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful influence you have been in my life. I wouldn't be the same person without you! I love you, and don't forget to smile today!!"

Started off the day at MIL's eating breakfast MOSTLY cooked by Husband, BIL, and Brando... great job men... it was yummmmmmYYYYY :) no pics of that... apparently too busy stuffing my face. :)

Sunday School and church and then OFF to J, J & CJ's for lunch with my parents and the grandparents... good times... good times

JJ had it under control but Husband IS the best BBQ-er and loves to do it so he stepped up... meanwhile... JJ was obviously BUSY... as you can see below...You might be a redneck if... your mother spends her mother's day on a 4 wheelers... IN HIGH HEELS!!!! :) Just because I'm oh so proud of making my first batch of homemade chocolate frosting. :) Grampa's b-day is Friday so we celebrated early :)From there it was OFF to D's b-day party.... oh yes... sing the song with me now won't you... it was the DAY THAT NEVER ENDS.... ITS JUST GOES ON AND ON MY FRRRRRRIIIEEENNNDDDD..... :)

The boy is going to hit DOUBLE digits tomorrow... and with the age 10 comes... well... see if you can guess...
