"Old Fashioned" Weekend (List Style)

Friday Night
1) Cozy family dinner
2) Going through MIL's recipie box
3) Writing out old favorites (Molassas Crinkles and Gingersnaps)

Saturday
4) Trip to local market to get local potatoes, carrots and apple cider
5) Loads of kitchen time filled with chit chat with GA
6) Candles going everywhere
7) Homemade pot of thick chicken stew
8) Homemade Molassas Crinkles
9) Husband and guy friends gathered around the kitchen table after hunting with bowls of stew and biscuits
10) Dinner with friends at a local establishment who serve beans and hot dogs (on Saturday night) with the woodstove going next to our table
11) Home with them for hot apple cider at home with cookies for dessert snuggled up laughing the night away on the couches

Sunday
12) Church
13) Family time shopping the afternoon away
14) Home simmering leftover cider on the stove
15) ending the night with drop in guests (I LOVE when people just "drop by" but ESPECIALLY on Sundays)
