MIL told me that when she was at college they had to work out a household budget. In that budget had to be fresh flowers each week. I can see why. This, on my dining room table, just makes me happy.

Splurge
There is a florist about a mile down the road from my house....on Saturdays from 12-3 they do a "Happy Hour" where all their cut flowers are 50% off... so those sunflowers... $1.50 each... the whole bouquet... $12.00.
