Girl's WEEKEND!!!

this weekend was Husband's annual ice fishing derby weekend in the neighboring state. We girls stayed nice and busy and even squeaked a trip into visit him which is UNCHARTED FEMALE TERRITORY... GIRLS DO NOT... I REPEAT DO NOT go on ice fishing weekend....but with Minnie....she pretty much breaks all those kinds of rules with Husband's guy friends... especially when you see what she was WILLING to do in the pictures below...

bear with me as the pictures are a bit out of sort so you'll have to pay attention.... :) starting with Saturday NIGHT :) Minnie and I went to Pheebs house to share pizza with Liz and her Aussie Hubby whom I'd never met before. Fun times ensued after dinner with some Saturday Night Tubby time... and clean fresh girls on the infamous couch....I do love Pheebs face here as she looks on with disgust at the girl who appears to be trying to STAND ON THE COUCH!! Doesn't she know better!?!? :)

on Friday we started the night per the norm with FND @ MIL's except that Aunnie LU LU joined us... these pics are just to proove to Brando that MiMi had NOTHING to do with the state in which your soups showed up to you... it was ALL Minnie and here's the proof :)

On Saturday we three girls trekked across state lines to visit Daddy. Three days is a long time for a girl who loves her Dad... she sure was excited to see him... and the fact that she got to spend the entire visit outSIDE... even better in her book ~ course...things started RIGHT off with classic "ice fishing" etiquette? They tried to make her kiss a shiner...

I'm always so blessed by the time I spend with this girl and when she gives up a weekend to hang out with me, it makes me feel like a million bucks... LOVE her (and yes that IS a tent pitched on the ice behind us... WHAT?)
